Autism in first person
During November and December, the partners of #RemAutism will be conducting multiplier events in our respective countries to culminate a project filled with sensitivity towards those who know or care for children with autism.
In Spain, Fundación XUL will organize this event on Saturday, November 30th. In collaboration with the organization Educa, based in Chiclana. We will continue with a series of sessions on Autism in the First Person, following the successful events held in previous editions.
The aim of this event is to provide a space for reflection and connection on autism, focusing on the experiences of people with autism and the challenges and opportunities they and their families face. The sessions will feature a series of lectures by autism experts, educators, and psychologists, as well as roundtable discussions where people with autism and their families will share their experiences and perspectives. These dialogues will provide a valuable opportunity to hear firsthand testimonies and learn from the experiences of those living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The event will be open to families, associations, and organizations related to individuals with special needs, as well as professionals from the fields of education, health, and social services, interested in gaining more knowledge on inclusion, well-being, and the development of people with autism. It will be an ideal forum for exchanging ideas, mutual learning, and strengthening support networks.
